Dec 15, 2016 | Contributor: Glenn Harris There is a sexy crowd of models, business moguls, and artsy types gathering at Hyde Beach, Miami’s place to see and be seen in the SLS Miami Beach. The centerpiece of this orgy of colors, patterns, and sculpture is a 12-foot silver duck, reminiscent of the yellow ones found in baths. Anywhere else in the world it would be completely out of place, but not here. This is the SLS South Beach and this scene was created by one of the most renowned designers Philippe Starck. ... Nov 17, 2016 | Contributor: Glenn Harris Egypt is a beautiful country full of historical importance, wonders of the world, and is one of the oldest civilizations on earth. In fact, 30 percent of the world’s ancient artifacts are found here. For centuries, we’ve heard stories about the Nile River, accounts of mythical gods, pharaohs that conquered lands and this magical body of water that was at the center of the dynasty. Although many travelers may have shied away from Egypt due to reports of civil unrest, the country is finally starting to see an uprising in tourism again. ... Read More |

One company helping sojourners do just that is Fathom cruises. The brand has partnered with not-for-profit organizations in Cuba and the Dominican Republic, and has developed a series of volunteer activities where passengers work side by side with locals on community projects. ... Jul 27, 2016 | Contributor: Glenn Harris When you hear the name Waldorf Astoria, the image of a spectacular and grand hotel instantly comes to mind. A place of dapper gentlemen and regal ladies dashing about without a care in the world. One envisions men in tuxedos and tails and women in sequined dresses off to a gala as they did in 1900s when the Waldorf and the Astoria hotels opened in New York City. ... Read More |
Jun 27, 2019 | Contributor: Nicolle Monico It’s no secret that Miami doesn’t do “low-key.” This vibrant city where neon is king and colorful Lamborghinis sit neatly parked next to glossy Rolls Royces on Collins Avenue is the kind of place that turns heads by its mere existence. You want understated luxury? Look elsewhere. ... Read More |
Apr 12, 2019 | Contributor: Mila Pantovich I never thought that I would be ready to buy a home sight unseen, but after touring the only partially developed Mandarina in Mexico, I’m ready. Apparently so are countless others, as the $1 billion luxury residential and hotel resort has already sold several custom villas before having a single one completely built. ... Read More |
Apr 4, 2016 | Contributor: Glenn Harris Singapore is a vibrant and exciting city that is both cosmopolitan and sophisticated as well as sexy and a little bit naughty. This dynamic personality can also be used to describe The Scarlet Singapore, an 80-room mischievous yet ultra-chic hotel in Lion City. Scarlet is the property’s fictional persona and muse—think maid in stilettos, fish nets and a garter belt. She is the concept which drives the hotel’s design, ethos and experience. ... Read More |
Mar 28, 2019 | Contributor: Mila Pantovich When I first found out that my two-day trip to Charlevoix, Québec would include sledding at Le Massif de Charlevoix, fat biking on a frozen river, a distillery and brewery tour of Menaud, VIP dog sledding and a helicopter tour, I assumed something would definitely have to be cut from the itinerary. ... Mar 18, 2019 | Contributor: Nicolle Monico Chicago has long been on my travel bucket list; yet as someone who’s racked up plenty of frequent flyer miles, it somehow took 34 years to get there. Thankfully, though, it was worth the wait. With its laundry list of world-renowned and celebrity chefs, historic music scene, the scenic Lake Michigan and a cityscape that begs to be admired, The Windy City is a magical place that lingers in your mind long after you’ve gone home. ...
